Sep 1993
•First ‘Comic and Characters Fair’ on September 26th, 1993 at a community centre in Hernals, Vienna.

Aug 1997
•This year the comic fair took place at the Kolpinghaus in Gumpendorferstraße, Vienna.

Feb 1998
•From Februar 15, 1998 the Comic fair took place 3-4 times a year at the larger school and community center in Längenfeldgasse, Vienna. Up to 1.000 visitors attended each date.

Sep 2008
•Great new opportunities at the new location Modegroßcenter (MGC Halle), with more people attending and an emerging number of side events.

Sep 2013
•On September 29, 2013 Vienna COMIX, formerly known as ‘Vienna Comic and Characters fair’, celebrates 20 years anniversary.

•October 2014 Vienna COMIX becomes a two-days-event, and is held two times in the year.

•October 3rd and 4th, 2015 one of the biggest comic fan-events in Europe takes places at the great exhibition hall Marx Halle, 1030 Vienna.

•For the first time, the trade-only event MARKET takes place at MGC-Halle on April 3rd, 2016. The main event Vienna COMIX features the full convention galore in October at Marx Halle!

•This year’s Vienna COMIX and the Vienna COMIX MARKET take place at MGC-Halle, Modecenterstrasse 22, 1030 Vienna. A lot of guests are expected!

•This year, there will take place three events: Our main event Vienna COMIX 2018 in April, and the Vienna COMIX MARKET in October and December!
